Courtship Update: Our First Fight

The other night when Tyler and I were on the phone, we had a conversation something like this...

 

Perry: "My mom used to offer a bounty for killing houseflies.  We got two pistachios per fly we smooshed."

 

Tyler: "It should have been cashews."

 

Perry: "Pistachios!"

 

Tyler: "Cashews!"

 

Perry: "Pistachios!  ...Hey!  Was that our first fight?!"

 

Tyler: "I knew you were about to say that!  What about between pecans and pistachios?"

 

Perry: "Pecans."

 

Tyler: "Good!"

 

So yes, after talking about a truckload of huge, weighty, and important topics, all we could find to argue about was whether Mom should have offered pistachios or cashews as bounty.  And Tyler's brilliant conflict resolution skills saved the day by suggesting we agree on pecans instead. ;)
